Resumé

Q u i c k  B a c k g r o u n d

Since 1982 I have taught children and adults at independent schools, focusing on demystifying the world of technology and introducing people to the digital playgrounds accessible from their devices, be it via teaching computer classes, facilitating a 1:1 laptop experience, collaborating with colleagues, or planning and providing professional development.

2012 marked the start of my 31st year in education, and I began it at Riverdale Country School as the lower school STEAM Integrator. This was a multi-new experience for me – a new school, a new position at the school, and a new area of focus. When the Covid 19 pandemic arrived I was in my eighth year at Riverdale and at the conclusion of that school year, 2019-2020, I decided it was time to exit the teaching profession.

For the curious, you can read about how I got started as a teacher.
